Review by Matt, Cardiff, UK

Leanne was a great guide, mentor and tutor. Helping us see NYC and make the most of our time with her. We did the Harlem Workshop together. I would have been very intimidated do this sort of thing before I met Leanne but she helped ease me into street photography. I cant speak highly enough of her. She was interested in me as a person and also the type of photography that I do in my own time. She took time to speak to us all as a group but also individually. As well as being a great photographer she is also a great tour guide with a wealth of knowledge about the city.

I would highly recommend Shoot NYC to anybody with a camera. Suitable for all levels of experience. Not only do you get all this but it comes at such a good price.

If youre thinking about booking. Stop. Just do it before the small group fills up and you miss out. Thank you so much Leanne. I will be back to do another tour or workshop with you some day!encounter-on-125th-street

126th street red wall walk

Harlem & East Harlem are some of the coolest neighborhoods in New York City! It’s a real hood vibe. People in their environment. Friendly people. We had great fun on Sunday for the Street Photography Workshop! Both as a group and with the locals! My photo tours and workshops are always as much as possible about doing just that. Street photography and photography should always be, for me, about the spirit of place. Not just snapping photos. But experiencing the place. It adds so much more to how you see it all and ultimately how you photograph it.125th-street-red-wall-walk_

“My son and I had a full day walking tour with Leanne covering a large part of NYC including Chinatown, Brooklyn Bridge, street art and major buildings…also included a great little dumpling place for cheap eats and a rest. A brilliant day out and Leanne could not provide enough support pre the day and even assisted with other ideas and arranged an additional tour for us during our stay. Great with tips and ideas on how to use your camera, composition and challenging your thinking on how to take a picture, or even to see a picture in someone that previously would have overlooked. Great value for money, and simply a fantastic and unique way to see NYC. Thanks so much Leanne!” -Chris, Perth, Australia http://www.shootnewyorkcity.com/reviews/2016/9/26/review-by-chris-and-thomas-perth-australianew-york-city-second

Review by Dorian and Jerome, Connecticut

“After taking Leanne’s Brooklyn tour in Fall of 2014, we vowed to return in 2015.  This time she took us to Chinatown and we brought a fellow photo enthusiast.  Chinatown is a very bustling area of New York City.  One can easily get overwhelmed because there is so much to see. Leanne’s abilty to help you anticipate the moments and find the shots made it a great day of shooting. We so enjoyed ourselves we have booked a third tour for 2016 to explore SOHO!! We would recommend this tour to anyone who is passionate about photography and wants to take creative images in the wonderful city of New York. We anticipate having a great time…again.” Dorian & Jerome, Connecticut http://www.shootnewyorkcity.com/reviews/2016/9/15/review-by-dorian-and-jerome-connecticut
